Winnie Lee (Combs) Thompson of Hazard Kentuckywas married to Elton Thompson. She was the oldest child born to Simon and Janies Combs. Winnie was known as one of the best beauticians in Hazard,Kentucky. She attended Liberty H.S. In Hazard and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Baptist Church until she moved to Dayton, Ohio in the 1960's . She was preceded in death her parents; Simon and Janie Combs and a daughter; Arminta Thompson and and her husband Elton Thompson,Sr. . Winnie was the mother of Barbara Jean(Thompson) Huggins who was married to Hugey Huggins. (deceased) Her son Elton Thompson, Jr passed away from an illness as a young man and was never married. Annabelle (Thompson) Brown was married and departed with out any children. While all of the Thompson children along with Winnie have passed away thier memory lives in the children and grand children of Barbara Jean and Hugey Huggins .
